Keagan Supple – International Freestyle Skier

 

Keagan is grateful and honored to be a member of the 2022-2023 Team NBS. He is a member of the Boston Ski Party Ski Club. Keagan attended his first NBS Summit in Vail for the NBS 50th Anniversary.

 

Keagan has been skiing for 18 years and competing in Freestyle skiing for the past 10 years. He is currently a part of the Elite Snow Sports program. He is attending Westminster Honors College in Salt Lake City, Utah.

 

Keagan is very grateful for the NBS Scholarship, which will help him achieve his goals in Competitive Freestyle Skiing. Also, the scholarship will allow him to travel to competitions to chase the points needed to make it to the World Cup Circuit. Keagan was able to ski his first World Cup this Season with the help of the NBS

 

During the winter season, Keagan trains 7 days a week. He also participates in his dryland training program throughout the season. His training camps took place during the Summer, and he attended the Momentum Camp in Whistler, Canada from June 25 to July 10. Keagan also participated in a Fall camp in Charnitz, Austria, and  Saas, Fee Switzerland. His winter program trains 4 days a week. He also participates in a Fall dryland training program once a week starting in October.

 

Keagan has 3 goals for the 2022-2023 season that are specific, measurable, realistic, and still challenging.

  • Switch right 12 - Coming into the jump backward, and completing 1260* 2.5(360)s of rotation and 2 flips. Coming soon
  • Forward right 14 - Coming into the jump forward and spinning 1440 * 4(360)s and two flips.Keagan accomplished this goal during summer training.
  • Switch right 450 on - Coming into the rail backward and spinning right 360* + 90* to slide the rail sideways.

  • 5th Place - Europa Cup Final Big Air Premium, Sankt Moritz, Switzerland
  • 7th Place – Revolution Tour Slopestyle, Mammoth, CA
  • 19tth Place – 19th Europa Cup Big Air, Les Arcs, France

 

Keagan's long-term goal is to ski in the World Cups for Slopestyle and Big Air and inspire more people of color to have fun in the snow.
