Elle Keenan – Mogul Queen

Elle is grateful and proud to be a 2022-2023 Team NBS athlete. She is an inspiring Freestyle/Mogul skier.

Elle is an NBS Rocky Mountain Region – Slippers-N-Sliders Ski Club member. She has been skiing for 12 years and competing for 3 years. In addition, she attends the Vail Ski and Snowboard Academy.

Elle is grateful for the NBS scholarships. In her words: The NBS scholarship can help me greatly with my goals and aspirations on and off the hill. The NBS can support me and my traveling to all my ski comps, whether it’s from Copper Mountain, Colorado, to Mammoth, California. Being able to have the support for my comps not only opens a door for improvement but gives me more opportunities to start dominating these comps to go on to even bigger competitions. 

Elle participates in a Fall dryland training program that trains 5 days a week. She also attended a camp at her home mountain in Vail in May 2022 for 8 days.

Elle’s long-term goal is to compete at the NorAm Level in Moguls.  

Elle’s 3 goals that she wants to achieve for 2022-2023 are:

• Complete a backflip
• Get an invite to Nationals (rank top 35)
• Get top 10 in a regional competition
